34 verses for senior saints
How can veteran saints, like Caleb, rise to the occasion and conquer life's crowning peaks? Give Me This Mountain answers this question over the course of ten weeks with 34 memory verses, thought-provoking study questions, and weekly devotionals.
The title Give Me This Mountain is derived from the words of Caleb in Joshua 14:12. Caleb was one of the few faithful spies and one of the last in his generation to survive the wilderness wanderings. Now, Caleb is in the Promised Land receiving his inheritance. Even at eighty-five years old, his zeal for the Lord had not diminished. He did not seek an easy portion but a mountain range occupied by giants. In the twilight of his life, he wanted to serve God. His cry, "Give me this mountain," was his confession of continued faith. Our prayer is that you find renewed growth and hope through God's Word as you memorize these verses.
