Fall Ministry Update

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

As SMF transitions from our annual travel season to a season of program development, several new projects are on the horizon including memory courses on heaven, contentment, and the book of Psalms. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months!

We also invite you to pray about SMF’s upcoming staffing transition. After nearly a decade of full-time ministry, my wife will be moving into a part-time role at SMF as we prepare to welcome our first child. In addition to helping develop many of SMF’s flagship resources, Laura has served memorizers across the globe through her faithful ministry over the years. She has packed and shipped tens of thousands of books, answered countless phone calls and emails, and attended dozens of live events promoting the priority and practice of Scripture memory. We praise God for all He has accomplished through Laura’s ministry, as well as the joyous occasion for this change.

We are also excited to share that God has already provided SMF’s next full-time staff member! After serving at SMF for over a year in a part-time capacity, Gloria Fuqua stepped into her new full-time role as Office Manager. Scripture memory has been an important part of Gloria’s spiritual journey, and we trust God will be glorified through her increased role at SMF. Please join us in praising God for His timely provision of our staffing needs and pray for His continued blessing on this transition.
